Six quads again in December with only Hung Le as a repeat winner from November. Quad 5 had an exciting finish to a 3-way tie. All 3 winners in that quad will get in free at their next Bethel quads event. Santa Elias (pictured above) three win performance landed him in the 4-digit ratings for the first time in his chess career reaching 1021.

Six quads in November with only Ayden Ransom as a repeat winner from October. We nearly had our first ever 4-way tie in quad 5 before Nick Edwards came out on top in the final round. If the final game had drawn, all players would have been at 1.5. Henry Strid and Ayden Ransom completed their 26th USCF matches to establish regular USCF ratings (no longer provisional).

38 players showed up on Oct. 20th including a three new players. All the quads were competitive with ratings ranging from the 100's to the 2000's. Congrats to Tunahan on winning Quad 1 while completing his 26th USCF match to establish a regular USCF rating! Fewer than 26 rated games is considered a provisional rating.

The first quads of the new school year had 30 players including a few playing in their first tournament ever! Ratings ranged from the 100's to the 1800's.

Twas the quads gathering before Seaside, so there was no surprise we had 44 players in 11 quads in April! Three players managed to get their required number of games in to qualify for the OSCF Scholastic Championships in Seaside later this month.
