30 players (6 quads plus a Swiss 6) kicked off the new year school year of chess at Willamette on September 17th. For the first time, all of the quads were USCF rated.

46 players (10 quads plus a Swiss 6) showed up at Willamette on June 4th for the last quad of the school year. I was a little surprised by the big turnout on such a nice day. Pictured above is WHS's Gabe taking care of business in Quad 3. By the time I remembered to take pictures, many of the lower quads had already cleared out as seen below.

10 quads competed at Willamette's Media Center on May 7th. This month youth was served with 30 scholastic players out of the 40 total. Of the 5 quads that had adults, only 2 came out on top.

Probably due to spring break, things finally calmed down a little with our record breaking quad numbers. 36 players competed in April with several scholastic players getting their required games in to qualify for the OSCF Championships later this month.
