Next Quads

Open to all ages – no previous tournament experience required. 

All players (K-12 and adults) will be divided into quads (4 player round robin sections of similar ability) so everyone will play 3 games.

USCF rules will be followed and all games will be USCF rated.  Current USCF membership will be required to play in the quads. $12/year for K-12 players and $33-54 for adults. For more information go to: https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess. The $12 K-12 memberships can be purchased through Rose City Chess (normally $24 through USCF). 

Time controls: Each quad chooses between G25/+5 to G40/+5.  Longer time controls might go until 6:00 pm.  Notation is required until one of the players is below 5 minutes.

Registration on site from 12:30-1:15 with play starting at 1:30 sharp!  Pre-registration not required but sending an email will guarantee a spot. 

These quads are OSCF Championship Qualifier events.

Only $10 to enter.  Winner of each quad gets their entry fee back plus free admission to the next Bethel Quad event.  All proceeds go to support the WHS Chess Club.
