Maintain the standards of Godly character (see “Revivalist Lifestyle”) as well as financial responsibility with tuition (and rent, if applicable) payments.
Fulfill 15-25 hours of hands-on training and experience per week with mentor.
Be present at the final Third Year class on April 24, 2023.
*Students who do not fulfill these requirements will not be eligible to graduate from Third Year.
Class begins promptly at 9:00am.
Note: Those that swipe in at 9:01am will be marked as tardy. We recommend planning to arrive early to avoid any tardies and help us make the most of our time together.
You are allowed 10 absences for the entire school year.
These absences will be your buffer for broken-down cars, sickness, personal travel, etc.
3 tardies equal 1 absence.
Your weekly training will count as your AMT this year whether you are in BSSM1, BSSM2, BSSMO, Bethel Tech trainings or the Wednesday Trainings with the Third Year team.
Third Year and Second Year have joint AMT Programs. You will be able to sign up for other AMTs outside of training if you are an on campus student.
You can check your attendance on your my.bssm.net profile. It is your responsibility to check your attendance consistently and notify us by emailing bssm3@bethel.com if there are any issues so we can get them cleared up quickly.
One of the perks of being in Third Year is that most of you get to attend to any service you choose throughout the year. Along with this privilege, we would love for you to keep in mind that our mission is to honor the local church and the capacity they have at each service. Space being one of the limiting factors here at Bethel, we would love for you to be mindful to not consistently attend the busiest service or multiple services in a row, in order to honor the local church and the space that we have.
If you are with an RGP in BSSM1 or BSSM2, you should attend the church service that your RG is assigned to.
Badges and lanyards must be worn at all times while serving your mentor and in class. Failure to bring badge to a Third Year meeting more than once will result in an absence for the day. *Lost Badges:
Please contact bssm3@bethel.com, as soon as you lose your badge. This will allow us to comply with security measures as well as provide you with a new badge as soon as possible. All lost badges will have a $10 replacement fee.
Every student with a vehicle is required to have an ID tag for Third Year. This ID tag belongs in the bottom left corner of your windshield on the driver’s side.
Please note – absences will be given to those who park at Twin View without an allocated parking tag.
