The Strand is a lovely place to be. There is a waka there called Te Awanui, a railway, a big park for the kids and a water playground. Kids love to play with the Hairy Maclary statues. It is a place you should visit.

Te Puna Quarry is a great place to go with the family, or even by yourself. There is an interesting Butterfly Garden and even a little island in the picnic area. There is also a slide and a stone dragon. I recommend the place. It really is an amazing experience.

Memorial Park is an awesome spot in Tauranga. There is a rideable train, two large playgrounds and an obstacle course. It’s one of the most popular parks in Tauranga. There is also a fountain and two flying foxes. It’s a great place for kids of all ages.

The Lake Water Park is very fun place to be. Kids love it there because there are lots of different activities for the little kids to do. Playing with water is very fun for kids. There are benches for kids to eat their snacks and lunches on and don’t forget to bring your togs.
