Our annual WORLD CAFÉ is a session for students to learn and exchange information about the European Union and talk about the personal experiences that connects them to it.
This year sixteen students from three partner schools (Antigua-Luberri, Ekialde and Botikazar) met to do the following activities:
DECODER GAME: an ice-breaker to learn the 27 member states of the EU
EUROPE IN YOUR LIFE: 10 minutes to talk about how much they know about the customs and traditions of other European countries, the European projects they have taken part in and what other school systems they know of.
THE EUROPEAN DREAM: 10 minutes to discuss the European motto "United in Diversity" and their points of view on immigration and refugee laws. The students are encouraged to put themselves in their shoes by imagining whether it is possible to talk of a "European Dream".
YOUR FUTURE: 10 minutes to exchange information about the students' plans regarding their future as European citizens and to try and forsee the future of the European Union itself.
EU FACTS GAME: a card game to learn 25 facts about the EU in 15 minutes.
