AI Policy

AI is a tool that must not be used to replace your thinking; if appropriate, it should amplify your curiosity, creativity, and reflection. 

Become familiar with “SPARK” and these stickers, which we will use to set clear boundaries and keep learning at the center. 

The Core Rule: AI may be permitted when it supports your learning and aligns with SPARK.

The Boundary: Using AI on an assignment marked with a "No AI" sticker, or using it in a way that violates SPARK, will be treated as academic dishonesty. * When in doubt, always ask first!

*If an assignment does not have an AI sticker, it should be assumed that AI is not to be used on the assignment.
