Grade 5 Accelerated Math

Distance Learning Phase 2: March 30 - April 17

Now that we are transitioning into Phase 2 of our Distance Learning Plan, I will be using a variety of platforms such as Khan Academy, ScootPad, ScreenCastify and Zoom Meetings as our main resources. My students may also use their classroom textbooks as a reference.

Each day, a new lesson will be posted on our Google Classroom and students will have the entire day to work on that lesson. The lesson will be a mix of videos and/or mathematical tasks. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in Zoom Meetings. In an effort to foster independence and responsibility, I encourage my students to use the daily checklist that I will provide each day. This list clearly provides mandatory activities and optional, differentiated activities that align with the daily mathematical objective.
