My name is Danyelle Kaiser, and I've been teaching at Bermudian Springs for the past 15 years. I am a former graduate of Bermudian Springs, obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in education from Millersville University and graduated with my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from Shippensburg University. My teaching certificates include elementary K-6 and grades 7-9 in English, Science, and Social Studies.
I have a diverse teaching background at the middle school which includes my first year as a long-term learning support teacher, experience teaching grade levels 5-8 and several subjects including Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. I have always loved science and am excited to have been steadily teaching 7th grade science for several years now. I have additional training in many other areas including application of technology, instructional design, advancing science curriculum, project based learning, and most recently, I attended State College this summer for training on our Trout in the Classroom program thanks to a partnership with Trout Unlimited, PA Fish & Boat Commission, and our local Adams County Water Conservation District.
On a personal note, I am happily married to my husband, Troy, for 12 years. We live in Hanover and have two beautiful young ladies named Morgan (10) and Natalie (8), as well as two spunky Boston Terriers, Hazel and Gracie. Our family enjoys spending time together doing many outdoor activities such as camping, biking, hiking, golfing, boating, and skiing. We love watching and playing sports (we are lacrosse parents right now!), and we love all things Pittsburgh!
