Opportunities for Collaboration
Breakout boxes based on classroom material help to reinforce content, encourage teamwork and critical thinking skills, and force students to think outside the box!
Check out the Breakout website for inspiration.

Swank K-12 is our database for streaming classroom movies and documentaries. One of the convenient features of Swank is that teachers have the ability to provide students with a link (along with the generic student login info below) that will take them only to the designated movie in the database. Students never have access to the full catalog. This makes it easy and safe to share links on Canvas! We have the ability to add movies to our database, so please let Mrs. Gumtow know if you'd like to use a movie that is not currently in our collection in Swank (or use the request button in Swank).
