Dear Paraprofessionals,
The TaC team has developed virtual training modules to support your professional growth and provide you with options to obtain your required training hours. This site will be updated throughout the year, please check back often.
To earn one training hour:
Choose the specific training topic you would like to complete.
Watch the ▶️ videos for your chosen training topic
Each video will contain a CODE WORD. Make a note of that word, you will need to refer to it later to receive your certificate.
After you have viewed each video under your topic, complete & submit the "Show What You Know" (SWYK) form for each video, this form will require the code words from each video.
After watching all of the videos connected to a module and submitting the SWYK google form, our office will issue a certificate of completion as evidence that you met our requirement for your hour of training.
**Allow 30 days from the submission of your SWYK form for your certificate to be processed and emailed.**
NOTE: The BCIU is not responsible for reporting of paraprofessional training hours, please follow your school district's procedure for how you need to report your paraprofessional training hours.
