Opportunities to support the implementation of the new STEELS Technology & Engineering Pennsylvania Standards!

Summer 2024 STEP w/EbD Workshops

4-day in-person, hands-on, deep dive workshops where participants will learn to use the Engineering byDesign (EbD) curricular resource to support the implementation of the STEELS Technology & Engineering Standards. Elementary, middle, and high school specific workshops for 25 educators per level will be held in the summer of 2024. Participants will receive a $816/person stipend to cover transportation, lodging, and meals (stipends will be paid by 9/1/2024). (32) Act 48 will be available as well as (3) graduate credits through St. Cloud State University for $500.

June 11-14, 2024: Middle School (Northwest Tri-County IU5 - Edinboro) 

June 18-21, 2024: High School (Appalachian IU8- Johnstown) 

June 24-27, 2024: Elementary (Chester County IU24 - Downingtown) 



This includes a learning management system, real-time online access to all course updates, additional interactive media, and online pre and post-assessments. EbD is aligned to the ITEEA Standards for Technological and Engineering Literacy (STEL).
