Since the early 80s, the Vans Pro has been the comeptition which gives local and professional surfers alike a chance to qualify for the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. The event takes place each winter.

Finalists at the 2019 Hawaiian Pro

The Hawaiian Pro is the first event of the Vans Triple Crown. It takes place at Ali’i Beach Park. With waves ranging from head-high to towering, Haleʻiwa is a training ground for many up-and-coming surfers.

The second competition of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing is the Vans World Cup of Surfing at Sunset Beach. The stakes are higher at this event, willing more fans to watch the competition.

Carissa Moore wins the 2020 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing

The Banzai Pipeline is the setting for the third and final stop of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. A winner is crowned at this final event, enticing fans near and far to flock to Pipeline.
