About Mrs. Gray

Hi!  My name is Mrs. Gray, and I am so excited that I get to be YOUR teacher this year!  This is my 5th year at BCS and my 9th year teaching 2nd grade!  Teaching is my absolute favorite thing to do.  My classroom is my happy place, and I can’t wait to make it your happy place, too!

My teaching style is reflective of my personality.  I would consider my classroom environment to be very warm, engaging, structured, loving, and empathetic.  I highly value social-emotional learning because taking care of students' hearts must come before academic learning.  There is no other way for a child to be successful.  Aside from teaching, I enjoy decorating my home, doing arts & crafts, and spending time with my loved ones.

I grew up in Rehoboth with my mom, dad, sister, and brother.  Today, I live in Taunton with my husband Mr. Gray, our daughter Daisy, and our two little cats Finley and Benji.  Daisy is a fun-loving toddler who loves to play outside and dance to her favorite tunes!  Finley is a 15-year-old gentleman kitty, and Benji is a 3-year-old rascal.  You will hear lots of silly stories about them this year!

We are very excited to be adding twin girls to our family this November!

I graduated from Stonehill College in 2015 with two bachelors degrees - one in Elementary Education and one in Environmental Studies.  I love learning about ways that we can protect the Earth and make it a better place for everybody!  In 2019, I graduated from Lesley University with my Masters in Language & Literacy.

I am looking forward to a fun year of learning with you!
