The iLok is a USB smart key that holds licenses for participating protected software products. With an iLok, you can carry all of your software licenses with you wherever you go. The iLok is portable, convenient and hassle free. At Berklee, each student will receive ONE and only one iLok to store your Pro Tools license. Once you have deposited your Pro Tools license, your iLok is extremely valuable because you are required to plug in your iLok to the launch the Pro Tools application. You should protect your iLok as you would any other valuable piece of gear.
You must be registered for the product for which we are replacing the license. If you have not yet registered and deposited your license, you will just need to purchase a new iLok. (See link at the bottom of the page)
File a Lost iLok RMA through iLok.com.
Submit a web case with an Avid Support Code (ASC) at http://www.avid.com/ASCform or call Customer Service at 650-731-6100 (choose option 1 to enter your ASC and then option 2 for Customer Service). *If you do not have an ASC, you can purchase a Pro Tools software or Pro Tools HD Avid Support Code at Avid Store.

File a Stolen iLok RMA through iLok.com.
For a replacement of licenses, you will need to provide a copy of a police report. The report can be sent to Customer Service in a new web case through the Support Center.
When the iLok RMA and police report are received in the web case, Avid Audio can deposit replacement licenses into your iLok account.
File a Broken iLok RMA through iLok.com. If you do not have an iLok account, you can create one.
You will need to ship the iLok to PACE Anti-Piracy for repair. If the iLok is damaged beyond repair, PACE will send a new iLok to you.
If you have a back-up iLok and are registered, Avid Audio can deposit 30-day temporary iLok licenses for use while the iLok is in repair. You will need to provide the iLok RMA number in order to receive temporary licenses.
Please note: There are certain 3rd party licenses that Avid’s Customer Service does not have access to amend. These include 3rd party licenses received in Massive Pack products and a few various others that they sell on their store. You will need to contact the individual developer directly for resolution
