What is a Sender Profile?
A Sender Profile is a record where you specify the From and Reply-To information for an email. The Reply-To address as it appears in recipients' inbox is unique and will vary with each email send. You may recognize it from your inbox, such as in the example below:

Step 1: Create a Sender Profile

From the Email Overview screen,
- Click Admin in the top navigation bar
- Click Send Management
- Click Sender Profiles in the left sidebar
- Click [ ☀️ Create ] button
Step 2: Edit the Properties

- Enter Name*
- Leave External Key blank
- Enter a Description (optional)
*Sender Profile name used internally within the Marketing Cloud app
Step 3: Set the Sender Information

Note: Marketing Cloud is configured to use @our.berkeley.edu for all outgoing emails for improved deliverability, sender reputation, and brand protection.
- Click Use the specified information radio button
- Enter From Name
- Enter From Email (must include @our.berkeley.edu domain*)

- Click Use custom settings below checkbox
- Click Use specified information radio button
- Enter Name
- Enter Address*
*Use a real @berkeley.edu address. We recommend using departmental rather than an individual address, e.g. oskicommittee@berkeley.edu
