The External Relations and Marketing Communications team has been working to ensure an effective roll-out of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (MC) platform. We have completed the initial roll-out and are now focused on platform stabilization and adoption support for existing users. You will find answers to common questions we've been asked regarding access below.
The current phase of the MC application is intended for communications to our constituent base (donors, alumni, parents, etc.) by campus development staff. Access is currently limited to development staff, and excludes student assistants and non-staff volunteers. Centers and institutes are not included at this time. The next phase may extend the use of MC to other types of communications and working groups.
The following criteria must also be met by campus development staff in order to receive an account:
Completion of CADS Orientation Training
Completion of CADS: Marketing Cloud Training
Please open a CADShelp ticket (VPN required) to request access. After opening the CADShelp request center, toggle to the Access to Systems area and select the CADS Access form.
You will need to list your Unit Access Coordinator (UAC) and your UID on the form.
