Schedule

The Latin Workshop will be offered in person this year. No hybrid or remote option will be available.

Part 1 Schedule (In Brief):

1. Morning sessions (9am-12pm)

Students will review the previous night's homework with the course instructors. Instructors will answer questions about the homework, about grammatical concepts, or about vocabulary. Time may be spent reviewing and drilling on the material presented the previous afternoon. Note: there will be no morning session on June 9th.

2. Afternoon sessions (1pm-4pm)

The director will present new material to students in the afternoon. Afternoon sessions will be a combination of lectures, small group activities, full-class activities, and brief periods of solo work. The homework assigned each evening will cover the material presented that afternoon.

3. Exams

There will be one midterm exam and one final exam during Part 1. The midterm will be on Friday, June 27th, and will cover the material completed in the first three weeks of the course. The final will take place on Friday, July 18th, and will cover all the material completed in Part 1.

Part 2 Schedule:
During the second part of the workshop, students will choose one poetry and one prose course to take. Times and locations for their selected courses will be determined during Part I.
