Declaring Cognitive Science
Declaring Cognitive Science
Students intending to declare Cognitive Science must complete a receive a "C" in Computer Science/Stats C8 (The Foundations of Data Science), CS 61A (Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs) or Engineering 7 (Introduction to Computer Science for Scientists and Engineers), and Math 1A or Math 16A (Calculus 1). Students will additionally need to have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 across all classes.

Upper Div Requirements (after completing the lower div CS requirements, students have the freedom to choose their upper div courses)

1 Philosophy Course
1 Society, Culture, and Cognition
3 Elective Courses
In addition to Cognitive Science major-required classes, students will need to complete their L&S breadths and university course requirements.
