Microwave Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy, or MP-AES, is a chemical analysis in which a plasma torch excites a sample at a specific wavelength in order to determine the concentration of elements contained in the sample. In this experiment, aluminum and manganese standards were used to determine the presence of those metals within each tea sample.
