Design
The device was made to be a concept wanting to incorporate as many sleep assist products into a single item. The main features were being a bladeless fan, a phone charger, a humidifier and an air purifier. The shape is meant to be sleek and smooth. The idea was to minimize the amount of different products a person if they wanted/needed sleep aid devices.Â
Testing
Testing
The product was printed in PLA as a size test and to gain a physical sense for the object, but due to time restraints did not allow for electronics to be integrated into the product. It was used as a presenting tool for judges to gain an idea of the object's feel and size. It was printed in multiple pieces because of print bed size restrictions, and meant to glue together with guiding holes and pegs.
