Park Conditions

Three park renderings highlighting different aspects of the site - landscape composition, slope and drainage, and shade, which could be helpful in choosing pollinator plantings.

Landscape Composition

This graphic provides a clear visual of the various landscape characteristics of the park.

Slope and Drainage

The park contour and slope provides a clearer visual of where surface drainage might occur.

The upper level of the park has partial to direct sunlight, depending on whether the trees are in bloom.

Shade

The graphic demonstrates the tree placement and accompanying shaded areas of the site. This should help demonstrate conditions for light sensitive plant options.

Existing Pollinator Habitat

There are large areas of the park, particularly the lawns in the upper area and entrance to the creek, that are less dense and have less diverse vegetation according to our NDVI analysis of the site. See our analysis here.

The existing pollinator habitats are spread through the site and concentrated in the areas highlighted in yellow. See below for more details of the different habitats.

iNaturalist data was used to identify and map some of the existing park plantings that attract pollinators.
