MOTIVATION
We wanted to create a PCB that would interpret data from a proximity sensor and output to an LED display. The sensor has a resolution of 8x8 and would be directly displayed on an 8x8 LED matrix.

FEATURES
Compute
Used ESP32 Micro-Controller to communicate with the VL53L5CX 8X8 Time-of-Flight multizone ranging sensor through I2C protocol
Interpret serial data from sensor and output to LED display driver
Used USB connection to upload the firmware
Sensing
Proximity Sensing
Used a 8X8 Time-of-Flight multizone ranging sensor
Power
Converting 5V input via USB protected by polyfuse and Schottky diode
AP7215 LDO to convert to 3.3V
