Project Overview
Many Hi-Fi headphones require a dedicated amplifier to power the speaker drivers properly. (Full response and range)
Not every device has a proper high impedance output for headphones.
Some devices don’t even have analog audio jacks!
Even then, the frequency response is not perfect. So the response can be corrected manually through a 6 band stereo equalizer.
All of these analog devices can be quite costly and bulky for high performance applications.
This project applies these techniques:
Power
Sensing
Actuation
Analog processing
USB Audio → I2C Device → DAC → Stereo Amp → Active RLC filters
