Request Process

To request a space for visiting faculty, please use our

  • Once you've placed your request, you'll receive a Service Now ticket confirmation via the email address you've provided.
  • Please allow for up to 2 weeks for your request to be fulfilled.
  • You will be required to login with your Calnet ID in order to make a request.
  • The form cannot be submitted without all the required information including:
    • Sponsor Name
    • Berkeley Haas Department
    • Visitor's Affiliation with Berkeley Haas
    • Visitor's Name
    • Visitor's Email
    • Visitor's Phone Number
    • Date of Arrival
    • Date of Departure

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Can I request a specific office for my visitor?
    • We will accommodate the request if the space is available. Please indicate a preferred floor in your initial request and we will do our best to assign an office nearby.
  • How will my visitor get into the assigned space?
    • When the guest arrives, they will need to stop by the Haas Facilities office (S549) to fill out and sign the appropriate UCPD paperwork. Once the paperwork is complete and signed, a key will be issued to them. Please note, keys must be returned to S549 when the guest leaves per UCPD policy.
  • Can we change the furniture in the office?
    • Rooms are furnished with a desk, office chair and locking drawer for personal belongings. Additional furniture requests, require approval from the ADAAs.
  • Will there be a phone or computer in the office?
    • No; phones and computers are not provided.
  • What happens when my visitor leaves?
    • Please return all Haas-issued keys to the Haas Facilities office (S549).
  • How do I extend my visitor's stay?
    • Please resubmit a ticket and indicate that this is a request to extend the guest's stay. The extension will require approval from the ADAAs.
