Felix Brandt

Hey there!

Since February 2025, I have been a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Mathematics  at UC Berkeley, where I am working with Prof. Sunčica Čanić. I am supported by a postdoc scholarship of Deutsche Akademie der Naturforscher Leopoldina (German National Academy of Sciences). Until January 2025, I was a research associate in the DFG Research Unit FOR 5528  at TU Darmstadt, where I obtained my PhD in May 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Matthias Hieber.    

My research interests lie in applied anaylsis, nonlinear PDEs and mathematical fluid dynamics. The applications that I am working on mainly concern fluid-structure interaction problems and geophysical flows.
