After 15 1/2 years of being the best loved, most spoiled dog on the planet, Sophie Marie passed away. She is deeply missed.
Sophie Marie Remirez, a 15-year old toy fox terrier, is the best bad dog you will ever meet. She lives at home in Texas with my mother and various other furry siblings: her younger brother Wiley, a big furry mutt; little sister Rosita, a golden hamster; and twin rabbits Johnny and June. Her cousin Winnie, a Jack Russell-Yorkie mix with a bite/lick merger, lives with my sister in Nashville, Tennessee.
She technically passed puppy obedience school at the University of PetsMart, and has conducted extensive research into various suspicious piles of leaves. Her interests include snuggling, watching TV, dragging whole loaves of bread through her doggy door into the backyard to devour in secret, and ginger snaps.
