PROJECT REQUIREMENTS (updated for 2024)

• Build a sound machine that creates a sound for at least 15 seconds. It should run reliably. 

• Use of solenoid and motors is encouraged, but not required. 

• Document your creation process and final piece, including sketches, at least one prototype, photos, and a good quality video of your creation. The video must show your design in operation. Close ups and whole prototype should be included. 

• Collaborative work from groups of up to 4 individuals is encouraged, but the final piece and documentation should reflect and describe the combined efforts of each group member.

STRETCH GOALS

• Can you come up with a brand new percussion instrument that has never been seen before?

• Can you team up with other classmates to form a band/ensemble performance?
