PROJECT REQUIREMENTS 

Create a generative* art piece. 

*That is, a piece where the output varies (isn't always the same). 

This might be a piece that changes in response to direct or indirect interaction, using probability or randomness, over time, or something else, or a combination of things. 

SUGGESTIONS:

• Using p5js through OpenProcessing.org or the p5js web editor  is recommended.

• You are encouraged to consider unique formats (e.g. projection, mobile/touchscreen interactions, games)

• Elements you might use to generate variation could include:

  • button presses, mouse movement, time (ex: using frameCount), microphone sound input, randomness (ex: using random() or other functions that generate numbers), the weather

• Elements you could vary in response could include: 

  • color, composition, shape, density, randomness, movement, sound, size
