Link21 is a Program of system improvements for San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) and regional rail that will transform Northern California's 21 counties Megaregion passenger rail to a more efficient and integrated transportation system. The program will include a new Transbay rail crossing between Oakland and San Francisco and aims to enhance livability, community stability, economic opportunity, and environmental quality in the Megaregion while also improving the passenger experience.
Link21 is sponsor by BART and Capitol Corridor and partners with many agencies including the State of California and many transit operator within the Megaregion.
