A mentorship program for undergraduate transfer students to the Berkeley College of Chemistry (CoC) created by CoC graduate students.

Sign ups for the 2026 program will come out in August 2026.

We held our virtual summer seminar "Introduction to undergraduate research + resources for new College of Chemistry transfer students" on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026 at 6pm PST.

The CoC Transfer Student Mentorship Program (TSMP) collaborates with Foundations of Discovery Learning for College of Chemistry Transfer Students, a course for Junior transfer students in the College of Chemistry. This course is designed to ease your transition to the CoC through mentorship and preparation for future discovery learning experiences. Enrollment in Chem 102 is not required for participation in the TSMP, but is highly encouraged. More information can be found here.
