A year-round literacy program aimed to promote literacy among young people in the East Bay and provide direct service opportunities for Cal student-athletes to visit classrooms for read alouds and connection
Cal Athletics recognizes the importance of sports for girls* and women* - equipping girls with skills and confidence that extend far beyond the sports field. Join us for an engaging day with our Cal Bears and try out different Cal sports and drills side by side with the Bears and our community partners.

In collaboration with Special Olympics of Northern California, and Exceptional Sports (e-sports), Cal Football is proud to invite athletes and students ages 6-13 to the annual Golden Buddies Football Clinic.
This free clinic allows local students with and without intellectual disabilities to participate in a day of fun and football drills at Cal Memorial Stadium led by Cal Football student-athletes.
Building on the legacy of the 2020 initiative spearheaded by Cal Women’s Lacrosse, Go Bears, Go Vote is a non-partisan Student-Athlete initiative to encourage voter registration, education, and turnout among eligible Cal student-athletes!
