Capstone Guidelines

The MEng capstone program is centered around a project-based five-unit course (E296) required of all students in the Master of Engineering program. In this course, students work in teams to solve a real-world problem by integrating the depth of knowledge from their technical coursework with the breadth of knowledge from the MEng leadership courses.

There are three MEng leadership courses that are closely integrated with capstone projects: Teaming and Project Management (E270C); Coaching for High-Performing Teams (E270K), and the spring semester of Communications for Engineering Leaders (E295).
