WHAT WE ARE ABOUT
CONFIDENCE> Our Goal is that every student athlete graduates our program with the highest confidence. We will build a supportive environment, and create a culture of praise and clear expectations.
TRUST> We Trust our players, We ill trust our coaches, we will trust in the process of growth from good to better to best. We will trust that everyone is pulling in the same direction.
RESPECT> Respect for our school (Teachers, Administrators, Custodians, Lunch Room Staff, Counselors, Bus Drivers, Student Body, and our colors). Respect for Our Team (Coaches, Teammates, Families, and Ourselves). Respect for Our Sport (The Rules, Opponents, Referees, Fans, The Task at Hand).
RESPONSIBILITY> Embrace our role and our opportunity to contribute to the Team. Be reliable (we have to depend on one another). Be accountable- what we do impacts the team, our process, and our goals.
INTEGRITY> Knowing what the right thing to do is and doing it. Be honest with one another. Be committed to one another and our goals. Be disciplined in the process of reaching those goals.
FAMILY> Fostering a fun environment. Promoting Growth through freedom to make mistakes. Everyone working hard and sharing the love we all have for the game and one another. Spending time together (on and off the court). And we will help in conflict resolution and all the ups and downs that come with being a part of a team/family.
TRADITION> Educating our players, coaches, and families on our Husky Tradition. Weave them into the fabric of our tradition. Alumni are always welcome back to share their experiences with our current players.
CONTROL THE CONTROLABLES> Attitude, effort, energy, teamwork, trust, commitment.
THE 3 P'S> Passion- We will play and practice with passion. We will pursue our goals with passion. Patience- Even in stormy times we will be patient. We will be patient with our process. Perserverance- We will be persistent with our mission of improvement and growth. No matter the difficulty.
THE PROCESS> We will be process driven and not results driven. Winning Culture is built through the process of daily growth and improvement. Let's be better today than yesterday, and better tomorrow than today.
