HISTORY

Benzie County has a rich basketball history for both men and women, dating all the way back to at least 1917. 

Benzie Central formed in 1962 with the merging of the counties independent schools located in Beulah-Benzonia, Honor, Copemish, and the surrounding areas.

Benzie Central has been supporting a girls basketball team annually since the 1970s.
