Intermezzo Orchestra is focused on developing intermediate skills in orchestral playing to prepare them for Symphonic or Chamber Orchestra. It will focus on refining shifting skills and learning the fundamentals of vibrato. This ensemble is comprised of grade 9 through 11. The difficulty range of music performed by this ensemble grades 2.5 to 3.0. All 9th grade students in this ensemble are required to audition for the Jr. High All-Region orchestra. All students are required to participate in 3 BHS orchestra concerts throughout the school year and Concert Assessment in the spring.

Ladies: Black dress pants, dress or skirt (below knee), black blouse (not sleeveless), black stockings (if wearing skirt), and black dress shoes.
