Round One: Started my own laser display production company at age 20, designing and building the laser projectors & controls and sold / produced / directed / executed the shows
Round Two: Joined Lightwave International as production designer, producer, onsite tech manager for up to 23 laser projectors; also was their CDRH/FDA/FAA laser safety officer
Round Three: Today - have been designing and building some new projectors, just a hobby (or is it?)
Some other tech I designed and built are here.
My lighting design called for 7 20-watt Lightwave laser projectors on the roof in the round for the Starship art project designed by Yvette Mattern
Here is the street light extinction map I created for the local power company, marking beam pathways where reduced street lighting would help the overall DLECTRICITY event, during Starship by Yvette Mattern
I was thrilled to design and tech manage lasers for two Pens home openers (~20 projectors each).
