Round One: Started my own laser display production company at age 20, designing and building the laser projectors & controls (including custom optics tables & RGB scanner projectors, mechanical systems, fog distribution system and electronics, fiber optic remote projectors, wrote some of the control software, and sold / produced / directed / executed the shows).

Round Two: In 2012 I joined Lightwave International as laser display production designer, producer, onsite-technical manager & show execution technician for shows with up to 23 RGB laser projectors for corporate, music and special events nationwide). I also was also their CDRH/FDA/FAA laser safety officer while there.

Round Three: In 2023 I started tinkering and built a new projector, just a hobby... :-)

I served as technical designer, production manger and operator for this art installation called Starship by Yvette Mattern, where each beam terminated on a different building (with permission). I collaboration with the local power company, designing a granular street light "kill map" based on their zone data, to help improve visibility without compromising safety

Laser companies I've collaborated with on my own partially include AudioVisual Imagineering (3D Chromadepth Planetarium shows), Image Engineering, Laser Artistry and Laser Media, with customers as varied as town festivals, to corporate customers such as Ford Motor and Dodge / Capital Cities / WJR, WWWW, the Detroit Pistons, the Palace of Auburn Hills & Glass Palace Promotions, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and more.
