Bill's multidisciplinary talents span emerging media technology, inspired product & business development, marketing, olympic broadcasting + live event technical production & facility design, producing experiential media & videos, and thought leadership presentations (and he did laser shows)
Bill executes multidisciplinary world-class commercialization, production and design of emerging media, audiovisual & broadcast technology and services, to deliver profitable, reliable new products, events and experiences that bring real disruptive value at maximum scale and where creative ingenuity is essential. He brings a rare multidisciplinary blend of technical, creative, logistical, business acumen and thorough communications, to orchestrate big ideas and teams into unified forward motion, with a practical eye towards market domination.
He thinks as an intrapreneur, with an agility to make order out of noise and ambiguity, across industries as varied as broadcast television, radio, OTT streaming, social & interactive, as well as experiential entertainment technology, facilities-based systems engineering, and live event & video production. He's a thought leader, tapped often to educate and inform others as a public speaker, writer and videographer.
His freelance background includes strong multidisciplinary creative and technical management & production, broadcast services (including 5x Olympic Games as both venue planner and Games-time technical venue manager), video production, exhibits, laser display, interactive, retail and e-commerce, sport & event production, and training & education.
Bill's an ardent believer in volunteerism, including 15+ years as a FIRST Robotics mentor & judge, manager for Pittsburgh's Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) Section, and board member of the Association of Public Radio Engineers. Formerly he held board and committee positions with the International Laser Display Association, and the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
