Young Artists at Work

The Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Young Artists at Work Program was a paid, multidisciplinary art-as-activism residency for teens at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Within the residency model, YBCA provides resources, space, aesthetic inspiration, and collaborative community to support young people who self-identify as artists and activists to produce their own original social justice art projects. The Young Artists at Work are proud to be the next generation of creative thinkers and social changemakers.

I worked with the youth program as an teaching assistant for 2010-2012. I helped facilitate class as well as planned short video and photography curriculum.
