As part of 100 Days Action, during our residency at California College of the Arts, Jeremiah Barber and I designed and installed a live interactive billboard. Visitors were able to make their own billboard with supplied tools and then have it broadcast live in the gallery.
You can see the rest of the installation here.
Playing off of For Freedoms' use of billboards in public spaces and using live video mixing, we invite you to envision and draw your own messages about the midterm elections on miniature billboards.
Craft your own billboard and have it immediately installed!
Inspired by the Presidential Oath of Office, we invite participants to reaffirm their values by solemnly swearing themselves into a self-ascribed role and responsibility before their peers, by their chosen deity.

100 Days Action constructs a replica of the Oval Office from cardboard, inviting you to sit at the desk of the President and sign an Executive Order into law.
"Only You" is a poster I designed for the Art for Essential Workers Project. It is a no subtle play on Smokey the Bear. I was honored to join the ranks of a wide variety of amazing artists who participated. See more here.
100 Days in partnership with the Facebook Art Department has asked artists to respond to this present and ever changing moment. The works are installed on boarded up businesses in San Francisco. We began in April and as the project has continued, it has grown and shifted to address health care, isolation, community wellbeing, and racial justice. This project uplifts essential workers and creates an alternative exhibition opportunity for artists who have been impacted by the closing of galleries and museums.
