Differentiation: Meeting the Needs of All Students
Our goal for this course is to help you gain an understanding of what differentiated instruction is and to use your new knowledge to develop and plan at least one differentiated instruction lesson plan for the upcoming school year. During this course you will attend an in-person session on Sept. 29th, work independently for 5 weeks and then meet to share your learning on Nov. 5th.

Integrated Technology
Learn how to implement purposeful instructional technology into your classroom. Learn about the SAMR Framework (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition) and technology that can support your students. Spend time researching new technology and trying it on in your classroom. At the end, share what you learned and the successes that you and your students experienced.
This is a hybrid class available for 1 graduate quarter credit. You will meet in person on April 6th, participate in Canvas for 6 weeks independently and then meet in person on May 27th for your presentation.

National Board Jump Start
National Board Jump Start is a comprehensive, multi-day seminar designed to provide National Board candidates with important information about the certification process, time to examine component and Assessment Center requirements, the opportunity to plan how to meet requirements, and time to collaborate, gather resources and information needed to pursue certification. All this happens in a supportive, constructive, and collegial environment led by Oregon and Washington National Board Certified Teachers.
