Summer SIOP
In this course, teachers will review the components of the SIOP Model, practice strategies for sheltering instruction and have the knowledge and skills to implement SIOP strategies into their instruction. This 3-day workshop is part of HDESD's Summer Institute.

SIOP+
This 3-day SIOP (Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol) workshop provides a research-based framework for supporting multilingual learners in accessing grade-level content through rigorous, student-centered instruction. Participants will learn strategies for integrating content and language development through comprehensible input, structured interaction, and explicit language supports. Teachers will leave with practical, adaptable tools that strengthen instruction for English learners and benefit all students.
