Transportation Changes

All after-school transportation changes or changes in after-school activities must go through the office. The office staff will forward all messages concerning transportation to teachers. We ask that all transportation changes be made in writing/email when possible.

Birthdays

Arrival and Dismissal

Students may arrive to school between 7:30-8:10 a.m. Class begins at 8:10 a.m.

Dismissal begins at 2:45 p.m.

Electronics

Students may not use electronic devices brought from home. They should be safely kept in backpacks and turned on vibrate during school hours.

Inclement Weather

Even if your local school district is closed, Benchmark School may be open as we take children from many districts. You will be notified by a recorded message should school be cancelled for any reason. You will also be notified if school closes early due to snow. Once you have logged into the Alma system, you can alter your notification option to text message.

Snacks

Students are encouraged to bring extra snacks and a refillable water bottle for our morning break and for after-school activities. We are a nut-free classroom.
