Homework is an important part of the Benchmark School program. Parents may assist to:
Help organize time and materials
Read directions or difficult texts aloud
Assist with proofreading
Teachers will hold students accountable for complete, correct, and neatly written or typed assignments. Words easily found in texts should be spelled correctly. When in doubt, students should underline the word in question and ask for help.
Let us know if your child has difficulty with a particular assignment or if homework seems to be taking too long.
