“I wanted to create a show that showed my 11 realities and my 11 dreams over my past 22 years. 22 is a powerful number. It also holds a meaning of precision and balance. In its full capacity, this number is the master builder, which means that it provides the power to achieve almost impossible things. In my first 21 years of life, it was very eye opening to me. I lost both my grandparents 6 weeks apart. I lost normal living due to COVID-19, I lost employment, I lost opportunities, I lost space, and most importantly I lost myself. I had to walk away from a lot of friendships that overtime became unequally yoked. This pushed me to become the person I am today. In this exhibit you will see my growth through all different types of relationships, mornings, wickedness, betrayal, prosperity, forgiveness, sadness, depression, insecurities, faithfulness, and entirety."
