One point that I would like to stress, that I feel is so very important, is that your child must be the one to complete the work. It is OK as a parent to help read and maybe reword/explain directions but they need to be the one to complete the work. I need to know if they are having struggles or not grasping a concept, and one way I will see this is if they get the answer wrong. If someone other than your child is helping them complete the work just so that they get the answer correct, I will not know that they are having a hard time. I will always be available during my office hours and after through Dojo to help your child and answer any questions/concerns that you might have. Communication between you and me is the way that we are going to make this year the most successful as possible for your child.
