Here at Outwood Primary Academy, we pride ourselves on providing children with enrichment activities to further children's learning opportunities; we connect with local sports clubs to promote a love for physical activity and drive aspirations.
This year, we are working with Wakefield School Sport Partnership, Leeds United Football Club and Wakefield Trinity Rugby Club.

Wakefield SSP work in unison with the other sports coaches to provide and deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons. Each academy has a familiar face from SSP who works with allocated classes throughout the year, hosting fitness challenges at social times and after school clubs.
Leeds United Football Club
Leeds United Football Club
Leeds United Football Club work with each year group throughout the academic year developing a love for football and team sports. They build confidence into children to apply key physical literacy skills that can be applied into game scenarios.
Wakefield Trinity Rugby Club
Wakefield Trinity Rugby Club
Wakefield Trinity Rugby Club, working closely with Wakefield SSP, deliver high quality, effective rugby lessons to enthuse and inspire children in their PE lessons. The rugby coaches design fun and engaging activities that children thoroughly enjoy.
