Hello! I am a dedicated Business and Technology Educator with over three decades of classroom, coaching, and leadership experience. My career is driven by a simple, powerful mission: #PreparingStudentsForLifeBeyondSchool. By bridging the gap between academics and the real-world, I empower students to build the professional habits, digital literacy, and financial competence they need to thrive after graduation.

💼 A Legacy of Leadership & Service

My journey as an educator spans diverse classrooms, athletic fields, and career-connected learning environments across Iowa and Illinois:

• Bellevue High School (2004 – Present): Serving as Business Teacher, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Adviser, and Work-Based Learning Coordinator. Students participate in internship programs and competitive leadership development programs. (Also served the community as a Softball & Bowling Coach).

• Hempstead High School (2000 – 2004): Business Teacher and Volleyball Coach.

• United Township High School (1993 – 2000): Business Teacher, Volleyball Coach, and Softball Coach.

💙 Beyond the Classroom

Outside of school, you can find me spending time with my husband, DJ, our son, Dawson, and our daughter, Madison, along with her husband, Trevor. I am also a proud new grandmother to my granddaughter, Lakelynn Ann Hager!

Aside from family time, I am an avid reader, workout enthusiast, and a lifelong, passionate fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls!
