In our classroom we will follow 4 rules all year long. I promise to follow our classroom management plan exactly as it’s written. These rules are not new to students, so it is expected that they behave like they are the oldest role models for every grade at Bellevue Elementary.
Listen and follow directions.
Raise your hand before speaking or leaving your seat.
Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
Respect your classmates and your teacher.
When a class rule is broken, there are 3 levels of consequences that will be given. I will do everything in my power to protect your right to learn and enjoy school by following through with these rules and consequences. Our rules benefit the class as a whole as it keeps our community strong and safe.

As students are beginning their final year before the transition to middle school, we feel that it is very important to have high expectations for student work completion. Our 5th Grade expectations for homework are as follows:
Assignments will be turned in right away when students arrive in the morning as a part of their morning routine.
Assignments are due the following day, unless noted differently by the teacher - this will also be found in student’s planners.
No homework turned in, no recess. We feel this is an opportunity for students to grow their accountability and responsibility as they prepare for MS.
