Southern Valley Alliance

SVA provides direct assistance to victim-survivors, makes referrals to other support services, and conducts community education across Scott and Carver counties.

Women's Transitional Housing

Proudly serving Carver and Scott county. Assist victims of domestic violence in exploring the medical, legal and social service options available to them. Work in partnership with SVA.


Housing and Homelessness Support

Scott and Carver Counties, in partnership with local non-profit agencies, may have assistance for those who are currently experiencing homelessness or who are unable to afford their current housing.



Scott County Housing Support

For over 45 years, the CDA has provided services and programs that help those seeking an affordable place to call home, increasing possibilities to businesses that want to locate in Scott County, and working with cities to create rental homes that give choices to those with low to moderate incomes.

Safe Space Shelter

Youth Services Programs

The shelter is located at the Ramsey County Government Building at 160 East Kellogg Boulevard in St. Paul. It has 64 beds, and operates overnight from 10:00pm to 9:00am the next morning, every day. In 2020, Safe Space Shelter served approximately 500 individuals each month and an average of 53 people each night.
